Two extraordinary nights took place on July 29 and 30 at Pi, Dephi. Kostantinos Vita created a series of new artworks based on 11 poems from the anthology Difficult Death (1946-1974) by Nikos-Alexis Aslanoglou. The exhibition and the accompanying concert, curated by Kika Kyriakakou, PCAI artistic director, were part of the 2025 programme of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture All of Greece, One Culture. The programme was captured by director Ilias Madouros and the poetic film he created on the occasion, commissioned by PCAI. You may watch the teaser video here. The full film is available here.
In this sold-out exhibition by PCAI and Kontantinos Vita at the architectural monument of Pikionis, space and humanity conversed with the past, memory and the present. As part of this context Konstantinos Vita created a series of new works (oils, acrylics and pencil) presented within the Pavilion and the surrounding estate area. The exhibition was accompanied by a live electronic music performance that harmonized with Delphi’s natural and energetic landscape and Pikionis’ architecture, that the visitors were invited to discover during the event. Audience and guests participated with a sensitive nobility and contributed to the two nights’ atmospheric setting in a unique manner. This was definitely an exhibition to remember.
