PCAI Weekends

PCAI launches PCAI Weekends, a special series of educational screenings and activities focusing on environmental consciousness and moving image. PCAI’s programmes have been awarded on many occassions including the ISWA 2018 Conference in Kuala Lumpur, the Corporate Art Awards 2018 in the European Parliament in Brussels, the Bravo Sustainability Awards 2019 and the 2019 Corporate Responsibility Awards (Αριστεία). The workshops have traveled tο schools in Greece, Oman and Mauritius as well as institutions and festivals, including the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, the Athens Science Festival and the 2019 Eco-Festival in Technopolis; PCAI’s educational films have been presented in various international animation and film festivals including the Animasyros Film Festival, the Barnes Film Festival London and the Anim!arte Brazil amongst others.

The programme is launched on April 11 and 12, 2020, with the first educational film of PCAI, titled Las Ptinas produced in partnership with Geitonas schools and it will be streamed via PCAI’s vimeo channel. A series of additional free activities and games aiming to familiarise children with the film’s story and characters, its environmental focus and basic moving image techniques will accompany each screening.
