PCAI was invited to participate in the Ecoculture Dialogues, a series of roundtables and keynote speeches taking place in Eleusina on the occasion of Eleusis European Capital of Culture 2023.
On Sunday, September 26, the artistic director of PCAI, Kika Kyriakakou, participated in the thematic discussion on the sustainable dimension of culture. The panel discussion, moderated by Georgia Voudouri, Director of Cultural Development of 2023 Eleusis, was focused on the crucial role of culture in promoting sustainability and strengthening ecological awareness, through the presentation of works and synergies on relevant themes.

Furthermore, the designer-duo THE NEW RAW, Panos Sakkas & Foteini Setaki, designers-in-residence in the PCAI Tilos Artist Residency, participated in a panel discussion on sustainable innovation, which focused on the development of innovative ideas/answers to the specific problems of the region, aiming at the transition to a new model of development. THE NEW RAW are currently presenting in collaboration with Eleusis the exhibition Print Your City! Eleusis, until September 30. The exhibits made of recycled and printed plastic produced in the pioneering 3D Printing, Circular Economy and Recycling Laboratory, as well as the story behind the creative initiative of transition from recycling to 3D printing, await guests of all ages in the recently renovated area of the Old City Hall of Elefsina.
