PCAI is glad to announce its collaboration with Kournos Music Festival 2026 in Lemnos.
Another version of the exhibition Space and Memory, by musician and composer Konstantinos Vita curated by Kika Kyriakakou, PCAI Artistic Director, will be presented at the Museum of Maritime Tradition and Sponge-Fishing of Nea Koutali.
The exhibition was previously presented at Pi, former Pikioni’s pavilion in Delphi, as part of the Ministry of Culture’s 2025 programme “All of Greece, One Culture”.
In the context of this year’s theme “Excavation / Unearthing” and the promotion of local museums as carriers of important cultural heritage, the Kournos Music Festival presents Space and Memory, which is based on poems from the poetry anthology Difficult Death (1946-1974) by poet Nikos-Alexis Aslanoglou.
After a walking tour of the refugee village, there will be a pocket concert by the rising violinist Irene Krikoni, one of the most exciting and versatile international soloists of her generation based in Vienna, member of the Oros Ensemble and the Punctum Collective, in the abandoned Karnagio of the port, among the ship shells, dedicated to the dialogue of the works with the Museum.
