PCAI in Eleusis 2023

Mystery 73 Cinema Paradise

PCAI participates in Mystery 73 Cinema Paradise: Industries of Coexistence, a programme in the context of Eleusis European Capital of Culture 2023. Mystery 73 Cinema Paradise: Industries of Coexistence opens from September 13 to September 24, featuring a series of screenings with new media artworks, non-narrative films and documentaries, created by 22 globally renowned artists. A collection of film narratives on a variety of communities, rituals, seas, the destruction of the planet, work and displacement, aspiring to momentarily occupy space and provoke cathartic conversations – for as long as they last, between different individuals and groups.

The programme, curated by Marina Fokidis, takes place at the Elefsina Film Club. Participanting artists, including Kostis Velonis, Ben Russell, Hira Nabi, Menelaos Karamaghiolis, Theo Prodromidis and others, will be presenting their works during Q&A and talks. The one day PCAI art collection tribute as part of Mystery 73 Cinema Paradise takes place on Sunday, September 17, at 8.30 pm, with free entrance.
