Polyeco Group will be participating in the Information Fair that will be held during the 2019 COPs, from 2 to 4 May 2019, at the Geneva International Conference Centre (CICG), 17 rue de Varembé, Geneva, Switzerland to highlight the importance of the role of external partners such as industry and the private sector, focusing on the role information plays, in the successful implementation of the conventions. On this occasion some of the latest PCAI activities related to the organisation's contemporary art and educational programme will be showcased.
The objective of the Information Fair is to promote and facilitate the exchange of information for the implementation of the conventions by providing an opportunity for partner institutions, non-governmental organizations, intergovernmental organizations and private companies to exhibit their information products, projects and technologies that are available to support the implementation of the conventions, and to showcase and debate about the crucial role that information plays in achieving the objectives of the three conventions.
The fourteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Basel Convention (BC COP-14), the ninth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Rotterdam Convention (RC COP-9) and the ninth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Stockholm Convention (SC COP-9) will be held back to back from 29 April to 10 May 2019, in Geneva. The theme is " Clean Planet, Healthy People: Sound Management of Chemicals and Waste" and the meetings will include joint sessions covering matters of relevance to at least two conventions and separate sessions of the meetings of the each of the three COPs.
